Install a free hit counter on your website in order to know the number of pages seens. it is the simplest type of counter possible. Each new page seen increment the total value by one. You can know at anytime the total number of pages seen.

This counter will allow you to know the number of dayly visitors.
So the same person who will see many pages of your website during the same day will be count only once. It can be very usefull to combine this counter with a hit counter in order to know the average of pages seen by each visitor.

This counter count the number of total visits made by net surfer on your website. A new visit is made by the same visitors when there is an inactivity of 30 minutes or more between two pages seen. So the number of visits is greater or equal to the number of dayly visitors.
